Two meals a day? Insufficient! Three? Adequate!
What about one? Are you nuts!??
The human mind is like a colorful clay dough you can make it, shape it, bend it and make it believe whatever you want it to believe. If you believe four meals are inadequate, you will still be hungry.
Now tell yourself you shall only eat once in a day for there are millions of people around the globe that go to bed with an empty stomach.
This is just another joke. Because believe me no one would willingly want to do that.
Point is, that food is a basic need and basic needs are always unevenly spread across the masses. May it be money, shelter, clothing or whatever it is that you think is relevant. And the reason these things are unevenly spread is because resources are unevenly spread.
The mighty have the power to pool resources and the weak have to forage whatever scrapes drift their way.
Lets go through some scenarios:
1. Let’s consider walking through the market. The fruit vendors isolate the bigger better looking fruits and put a bigger price tag and the remaining are cheaper. You choose the costly ones obviously for added quality and value for money. You buy a kilo and head home.
Then a time comes when you stash of in the refrigerator along with other stuff. And eventually those fruits come out when there’s new stuff growing on it. And go straight into the bin.
2. It’s a busy day in the kitchen! Hustle time as all the guests will be arriving any time now.
And like any other good and presentable host you have a long three course meal spread out on the table.
Say there’s a starters, main courses, and desserts that you are an expert at making and you offer them generously.
A few hours later all those half eaten cuisines head where? Exactly where you think! Into the bin.
3.
You have to take a break out of your routine and what better way to get out and head out to a posh restaurant for quenching the thirst of your tongue! As you are bored with the food that you eat at home everyday. And change is always good!
So you order, wait, eat, pay, and leave.
Story doesn’t end there! There is lot happening backstage and what you ate was roughly 30-40% of the food used to prepare your dish.
And as usual the rest ….. Into… The bin!
To look at a bigger picture, you are among the mighty and resource rich masses. And the foragers have no idea how lavishly you brush aside the stale scraps that they could eat with a happy heart and a jaunty stomach!

They Change When They Realise That There’s No Other Option !!
The rest however will evolve.
